Call-out for artists working with durational performance

Steakhouse Live and ]performance s p a c e [ presents an opportunity for an artist who works with durational performance to develop a new work to be presented at Slow Sunday in London on Sunday 1st March.

The offer:

Five-day artist residency at Performance Space, Folkestone, which will include £500 fee for the artist plus accommodation and travel to and from Folkestone.

The residency will run from Monday 27 January to Saturday 1st February 2020 and will include:
– One-to-one crit session with PS directors on Tuesday 28 January
– Artist sharing at PS during the Last Fridays Folkestone event on Friday 31st January
– Post-showing breakfast crit session with local artistic community on Saturday 1st February

Performance at Slow Sunday, a one-day festival of performance curated and produced by Steakhouse Live. Slow Sunday will run from 1pm-9pm at Toynbee Studios on Sunday 1st March 2020.

The artist will receive:
-A performance fee of £500 plus an agreed materials budget
-Travel and accommodation if the artist is not based in London.

Deadline for applications: Midnight Sunday 9 December.
